Available Configurations

The EA‑BTS 10300 Series, available through Avalon Test Equipment, sets a new standard in battery test systems by integrating bidirectional SiC-based power and load functions into compact racks. With true autoranging, it delivers precise high-voltage cycling without interruption. Designed for performance and efficiency, the 300 kW rack occupies just 6.5 ft² and regenerates energy at up to 96.5% efficiency—offering significant savings in space, power consumption, and cooling requirements.

The widget-based software enables easy test sequence creation without coding, supports high-rate data acquisition (up to 1.6 kHz), and interfaces with CAN‑bus and environmental chambers. Safety features include pre-charge, reverse-polarity protection, and configurable alarms. Modular design allows parallel expansion to 3.84 MW across 64 racks, meeting growing test demands. It supports drive-cycle simulations, insulation testing, temperature monitoring, and BMS integration.

  • Voltage Range: 0–1500 VDC (up to 2000 V optional)

  • Current Capacity: Up to 2,400 A per rack; total of 30,720 A in full system

  • Power Output: 300 kW per 42U rack in 6.5 ft²; scalable to 3.84 MW in parallel

  • Efficiency: Up to 96.5% regenerative energy return
