EN/IEC 61000-4-10

IEC 61000-4-10 is a test standard developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for damped oscillatory magnetic field immunity testing. The purpose of this test standard is to demonstrate the immunity of equipment when exposed to a damped oscillatory magnetic field in relation to the equipment's specific location. IEC 61000-4-10 only applies to equipment under operational conditions exposed to damped oscillatory magnetic disturbances related to medium and high voltage substations. Immunity is established with IEC 61000-4-10 by defining a reproducible test procedure for evaluating medium and high voltage substation electrical and electronic equipment that is exposed to damped oscillatory magnetic fields. IEC 61000-4-10 establishes recommended test levels, test equipment, test set-up, and test procedures.
