EN/IEC 61000-4-3

IEC 61000-4-3 is a test standard developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field immunity testing. This standard revolves around the immunity requirements and test methods of electronic equipment exposed to radiated electromagnetic energy. The goal of IEC 61000-4-3 is to institute an acceptable and easily replicated basis for evaluating the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment exposed to radiated, RF electromagnetic fields. This standard requires testing the immunity of equipment for protection against RF electromagnetic fields from all types of sources. Specific attention has been dedicated to the protection of equipment against RF emissions from digital radiotelephones and other RF emitting devices.
