The BFD-400-1 from Narda Safety Test Solutions is a Digital H-Field Probe designed for isotropic measurement of magnetic flux density in the frequency range from 1 Hz to 400 kHz. It integrates a 100 cm^2 sensor for isotropic (direction-independent) measurement with a dynamic range of 70 dB. This probe performs simple measurements for standard-compliant evaluation as well as detailed measurements for detailed signal and field strength composition analysis. It has three channels for real-time analysis and can display markers, triggers, etc. in both time and frequency domain.

The BFD-400-1 has a ‘Spectrum mode’ with a displayed limit value curve and a ‘Scope mode’ for displaying the LF field progression over time. It has a digital probe interface that eliminates the need for counter calibration and an adjustable narrow filter for the digital LF probes (bandpass or bandstop). This probe is ideal for evaluating the exposures in accordance with important standards such as EU Directive 2013/35/EU, ICNIRP or IEEE.
