ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental international organization that holds membership of 165 national standards bodies. There is only one member per country and they represent ISO in their country. These members influence the development of ISO standards by participating and voting in ISO technical and policy meetings. By bringing experts together internationally, ISO uses their shared knowledge to develop consensus-based and market-relevant international standards that provide solutions to current global challenges and support innovation. Once implemented, these standards institute an acceptable reference for evaluating equipment to ensure equipment safety and repeatable results. ISO also works closely with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) on all Electrotechnical standardization matters.
Avalon Test Equipment carries a variety of equipment from top manufacturers (EM Test, Teseq, and more) to meet ISO test standards. Search by standard and Test With Confidence®.
